The local United States Postal Service (USPS) office is citing issues with a processing machine and envelopes as causing many batches of mail locally to be stamped as “undeliverable as addressed.” While no changes have been made to CWLP envelopes or address format, some batches of outgoing CWLP mail and return envelopes with customer payments routed to CWLP’s Cashier’s Office have been returned to senders. When checked, addresses were found listed correctly on mail that was returned.
USPS representatives have stated they are working on the issue with the processing equipment but noted that envelopes that don’t process through the machine properly are automatically stamped as undeliverable and returned to sender.
CWLP customers are encouraged to follow account status at
myCWLP.com and to allow for more time for mail processing until this issue can be resolved. Returned mail can be walked into the office, put in a CWLP payment drop box or attempted routed through US Mail again.

Pay by automatic withdrawal from your bank: Set up CWLP Auto Debit by calling 217.789.2030 or through myCWLP.com to allow your monthly payment to process from your financial institution without delay. It is free of charge to set up. You can also sign up in person at our main customer service office.
Please allow a minimum two business days for processing when sending your CWLP payment from a financial institution or other online payment provider other than CWLP Auto Debit. In some instances your financial institution may send your CWLP payment by mail, which may result in a longer delay of 5 to 7 days in the processing of your payment. This delay, if not accounted for before submitting payment, could result in your CWLP payment being considered late.
Pay in person: Pay your bill by coming in and going to the Cashier's Office at our main building or use the drop box in the alley on the south side of the building near our drive-through. We also have three convenient payment drop-off boxes that make paying your utility bill easier and more convenient than ever. The boxes are located in the outermost drive-thru lane at each of the following locations:

• Illinois National Bank, branch 2450 North Dirksen Parkway (near the Wal-Mart Supercenter)
