Beginning Tuesday, May 12, Sherman Street will be closed between Grant and Pickett Streets for railroad crossing removal and pavement patching work by City Water, Light and Power’s contractor. This work is expected to be complete by Wednesday, May 13 in the evening.

Motorists should plan to take alternative routes to avoid delays and should slow down and be aware of construction and repair crews and equipment in and near roadways.
