Mayor Misty Buscher recently recognized CWLP Electric System Operators Matt Bertrand, Bucky Clemens and Anthony Belville for their professionalism and dedication in power restoration efforts following a severe storm in August.The team, which works out of the utility's Electric Operations and Dispatch Center, played a critical role in efforts to coordinate resources and crews to help restore power to more than 7,000 customers. Despite challenging conditions, they maintained communication with troubleshooters, field supervisors and crews to support safe and efficient power restoration.
Their commitment to safety, customer service and keeping Springfield’s lights on reflects the dedication of CWLP employees who work behind the scenes to serve our community, especially during emergencies. Congratulations to Bucky, Anthony and Matt on this well-deserved recognition!
