Holiday Parade 2024

December 13, 2024

On Saturday, December 7, a vibrant group of employees from CWLP, along with their families and friends, gathered to celebrate the holiday season in downtown Springfield. This lively event also included participation from various City of Springfield departments, local businesses, and community organizations, all united in the spirit of holiday cheer. Onlookers of all ages lined the streets, admiring the dazzling lights and festive decorations that filled the streets.

The event was hosted by the Springfield Jaycees, a longstanding Springfield tradition, dating back more than 70 years. The celebration kicked off at the intersection of 7th and Jefferson, where a crowd gathered to see the official start of the parade. From there, the parade wound its way down 5th Street, where families waved and cheered before turning west on Monroe and finally heading north on 6th Street.

Enjoy these festive photos from the event and have a wonderful holiday season!
