At the Tuesday, March 25th Committee of the Whole meeting CWLP will present information on its Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) project for the Electric Division. AMI meters provide for a number of benefits including eliminating meter reading errors and identifying service outages instantly. AMI's also allow utilities to:- Automatically collect meter readings
- Enable real-time monitoring and control
- Enhance billing accuracy and revenue collection
- Improve customer engagement and efficiency
- Support future smart grid applications
