Congratulations to this year’s Illinois Municipal Utilities Association (IMUA) scholarship winners! Mayor Misty Buscher , IMUA and City Water, Light and Power officials recognized Gavin Fay and Tom Humphrey, both seniors at Sacred Heart-Griffin High school, were two of four total students statewide that earned the award for their essay writing on public power topics.
Gavin and Tom each received $1,000 to pay for tuition or other education related expenses. Gavin plans to attend the University of Missouri and Tom plans to attend the University of Illinois. IMUA and CWLP wish them all the best in their future endeavors. Congratulations!
