Lake Springfield offers eight public parks with 35 picnic areas, two recreation buildings, and eight softball diamonds. Many of these  special park facilities are available for reservation by the public.

The parks owned and operated by CWLP are:

Bridgeview Park Center Park
Lake Park Beach Park
Cottonhill Park
(East and West)
Tom Madonia Park
(East and West)
Wildlife Sanctuary Lick Creek Wildlife Reserve

For a detailed description of and directions to each of the parks listed above, click on the park name. A map showing the location of these parks is also available online.

Some parks or park facilities have been designed with the needs of handicapped individuals in mind.

Most of the parks are closed between the hours of 10 p.m. and 6 a.m., although certain reserved facilities may be kept open as late as midnight. East and West Tom Madonia Parks close at 9 p.m.

In addition to the CWLP-owned and managed parks and facilities, the lake area also boasts a golf course, a zoo and a nature garden.
