Handicap-Accessible Parks and Park Facilities

Some parks or park facilities have been designed with the needs of handicapped individuals in mind.

Tom Madonia Parks (East and West) are accessible to people with physical disabilities.  In addition, Tom Madonia Park East contains recreational equipment especially designed for disabled persons. The parks also have a connecting bridge that is accessible to fishermen with physical disabilities.

The Beach House and Bridgeview Park Buildings are also handicap accessible.

All parks are equipped with restrooms. Handicap-accessible temporary restrooms are available at Center Park and Bridgeview Park from April through mid-October.

The boat launch located in Center Park, north of the Beach House, is accessible by wheelchair.
