The Beach at Lake Springfield will not be open for swimming during Summer 2010. The Beach House is still available for rent for private parties. Click here for information about the Beach House.

From the beginning, Lake Springfield was intended to serve not only as the domestic water supply for Springfield's residents, but also as a recreation outlet for Central Illinois. A variety of water sports—boating, fishing and swimming— can be enjoyed here.
