Schedule of Upcoming Kwedar Safe Boating Clinics

To earn the Illinois Department of Natural Resource's Safe Boating Certificate, you must successfully complete one full Kwedar Safe Boating Clinic class. Each class consists of two half-day sessions held on consecutive Saturdays. The April and May classes are identical. All sessions are held at the CWLP Property Management Center, 200 E. Lake Shore Drive (just east of the Spaulding Dam boat launch). Children 15 and under must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Participants may bring a snack and beverage, if they wish.

Pre-registration is required. To pre-register for a class, call the CWLP Security Office at 757-8660, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
